Located on the outskirts of Salisbury providing easy access by car to Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, etc. Room and bed were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

The room was outstanding. Roomy, clean, comfortable beds, opening windows with cushioned seats in them, and an exceptional bathroom. Coffee and tea making facilities that included fresh coffee and a press, as well as a thermos with milk. Very friendly people, good food, although, due to a busy Sunday the Cheeseburger was sold out, but that always makes me happy as they then do not come out of a freezer. Breakfast was perfect. Many choices, even up to a Bloody Mary if you are in need of one :-) Location right next to a road (hey, it is an inn...), ample parking and very close to Stourhead House. Also an easy couple of hours from Dover which makes it a nice target for your first or last night in Britain.

Offering a shared lounge and inner courtyard view, The Old House Guest House is situated in Salisbury, 1.2 km from Salisbury Train Station and 2.5 km from Salisbury Cathedral. Boasting luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The breakfast was unbelievable. We had the full English breakfast every morning, as well as cereal and fruits. Mrs. M. is a wonderful person and it was always nice to meet her smiling face every morning. We stayed 8 nights and never tired of it! The spacious bedroom (#6) is charming with exposed beams and nice linens. Mark furnished a fan and we brought our own as well. With the windows closed and the fans on, heavy curtains pulled, we heard NO road noise. It would be noisy with windows opened, but we had been warned beforehand and did not have a problem. The location is mixed. Not much to see or do in the immediate area, but it is a shortish walk to the downtown (about 20 minutes). No restaurants except for an ordinary pub. We were there for the Chalke Valley History Festival and the location was perfect for that, about a 20 minute drive but not complicated. Parking was a huge plus. The owners (Mark & his parents) made the stay so special. I was reminded of trips to England in the 1970s, when B&Bs were very personal and homey. Thank you. We will be back next year!

Quick 10/15 minute drive to Stonehenge. The place was very comfortable and inviting. The first floor is a pub/restaurant, second floor has the rooms. Our room had a full kitchen with a small fold-out sofa bed. The bedroom had two beds, very comfortable and quiet. We had no issues at night with noise. My husband and I went downstairs for dinner. Food and drinks were great, we were even able to order some and take some upstairs for the kids & grandma. Kids stayed back with grandma and watched Netflix(included). The bathroom had great shower pressure. We had a great time speaking with a few of the employees while at dinner. Lots of locals, just loved the atmosphere. Honestly amazing staff. Breakfast was delicious! They had a small buffet selection of yogurt, cereal, juice, breads and some fruit and hot breakfast was included as well. We will be staying here again the next time we go to visit.

This 4-star inn features free WiFi and a bar. The property is non-smoking and is located 13 km from Bath Spa Train Station. What a lovely place! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The people and the service are amazing, 10+ out of 10. Not only did they help get our luggage up the stairs, they found umbrellas for us to use on our outings and were there at every turn for anything we might need. The bar staff are super friendly and the cook was amazing. Breakfast is the best I've had, and there were several menu items to choose from. We stayed in the small apartment and really enjoyed having a separate area to watch TV and relax. All in all, we loved our stay here. We would like to return again some day and spend more time with these wonderful people. They truly are the best! ❤️

At the inn, the rooms are equipped with a desk. The private bathroom is fitted with a bath and free toiletries. All rooms at The Royal Oak are equipped with a seating area. Everything. The staff were friendly and personable. The bed was comfortable, the tub was deep enough for a proper soak, we could sleep with the windows opens and not be bothered by road noise. The attached pub has exceptional food. We look forward to rebooking a stay in the future.

Situated in Wilton, 5.4 km from Salisbury, Greyhound Inn Wilton boasts a terrace and views of the garden. It is 12.8 km to Stonehenge from the property. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant. Our room was huge with large bathroom, clean and well presented. Bed was comfy. The food was amazing. We ate dinner and breakfast here and loved all of it. The servings were very large. Free parking was great.

Bristol Airport and city centre are 28 miles away, while the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare is 45 miles. The local attractions of National Trust village Lacock and Longleat Safari Park are both within a 35-minute drive of the guesthouse. Cherie is a very welcoming host. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The guesthouse is highly recommended.
