The Red Lion Hotel is over 200 years old has many original period features. Most of our rooms have great views of the sea and the Blue Flag beaches.

The Red Lion has a spacious lounge with views of Cromer Pier. The traditional bar offers 14 real ales and we have a great food menu of local Norfolk produce. Wonderful historical hotel. The view across to the Pier and the North Sea was wonderful. Great to open the window and hear the waves crashing against the sea wall. I commend the Staff at the hotel. Like so many hotels and restaurants both in the U.K. and Canada, full staffing is a problem since Covid. The people at this hotel were amazing, many having to cover more than one position. They were so friendly and helpful. Would return to The Red Lion if we ever come that way again.

A perfect little country pub stay with a personable service from hosts Louise & Martin. We chose this accommodation to stay the night before a day at Snetterton race circuit which is just 7 mins up the lanes from here - nowhere is closer! We arrived early evening on a Sunday and kitchen was closed but Martin suggested we could get a take away in and even provided us with cutlery and crockery - very accommodating indeed. Rooms were out the back in converted stables, lovely and clean, comfy and a quiet nights sleep. Will 100% stay again, thank you very much.

Located in Grimston, the recently renovated The Old Bell B&B offers accommodation 13 km from Houghton Hall and 7.1 km from Castle Rising Castle. This guest house provides free private parking, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The guest house features family rooms. It was fabulous, decor was beautiful, hosts super friendly and the recommendations were spot on!!! Breakfast was included and delicious… Don’t go past this one!!! I’ve already recommended to friends.

Very secluded and quiet, the host was extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent and overwhelming.

All ensuite rooms in the inn are equipped with tea and coffee making facilites, a flat-screen TV, a variety of luxury, eco-friendly toiletries, as well as some complimentary sloe gin and home baked short bread. Pets are allowed in two of the accommodation rooms (Hindol & Beeler) on request, please note that an extra charge of £17.50 applies. Food was outstanding (both dinner and breakfast) as was the furnishing of the rooms. Particularly enjoyed the bathtub in the rooms.
