She was so friendly from arrival to our departure. She walked us to our room and pointed out some notable feature including homemade biscuits at the coffee bar. Marta welcomed us for pre-dinner cocktails and helped us choose outdoor seating. The meal was delicious, and the service was top notch. I was sad not to be staying longer! The room was very comfortable and I loved the farmhouse character of the property.

Upstairs are eight comfortable newly decorated en-suite rooms (including a family suite) while downstairs you'll find a cosy public bar with open fires, a sunny south-facing patio, and a large dining room with reading snugs. There is free parking and Wi-Fi for customers. Children, walkers, cyclists and dogs are welcome, but dogs are restricted to the bar. Contact the hotel directly if you have an assistance dog and/or are interested in reserving our one dog-friendly room as this cannot be booked online. The hotel is on lovely Wye Valley and close to walks ! We found it a bit of a special place however we were really lucky with the waether.
