The best inn I have ever stayed inn! It's a 1500s building and it is gorgeous and fascinating inside. So much to look at, lovingly and tastefully restored and preserved. See pics. Fantastic staff. I didn't use the pub / restaurant but it looked superb. I did have breakfast which was 10 out of 10, see pic. The location is in the heart of the historic old town, all the streets are narrow and quaint, I managed to find parking up the street, but the whole area wasn't designed for motor cars. Be aware that the many steep stairs are not suitable if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases, so if that's you call them to discuss your options. See the pic of the paper they gave me to help me navigate the labyrinth! Overall the best historic property I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled a lot. Don't miss staying here!

The rooms are spotless and very well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Locals frequent the local pub and the was great. Particularly convenient for guest going to weddings / functions at Leez Priory.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. A real home from home. So welcoming, comfortable and smelt amazing! A great location too. Parking was a great bonus. There wasn’t anything that the hosts hadn’t thought off! You name it, it was there! We were VERY impressed. The gorgeous treats that were left for our arrival were a real surprise and we were very grateful. Lynne & Kev are a lovely couple and great hosts. They are very lucky to live in such a beautiful part of the UK. We will definitely be back later on in the year.

I stayed here with my family of 5 adults for my aunts wedding. Mario was a great host. He allowed us to check in early as we had to get ready for a wedding. He sent me a video of how to use the key code which was very helpful on arrival. The place was clean and exactly as described. Fully equipped. The apartment is very cosy and in a great location right by the beach. Mario answered all our questions promptly. Wifi down the side of the bed in the bedroom & there is an airbed available if there are more than 4 guests.
Bright, clean and well designed apartment in a great location, offering every mod con imaginable, with friendly, very helpful and highly responsive hosts. Lots of little extras included, which was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. Air con was excellent and kept the apartment nice and cosy. Quiet, peaceful and dark at night - I slept wonderfully. Highly recommended!
Beautiful guest house in a great location. Received a warm, friendly welcome from our host who was so helpful in offering recommendations for eating out and places to visit while we were there. Our room was on the top floor from which we could see the sea. Room and en-suite were well appointed and immaculate. Good choice of breakfast, which was very good too. Great place to stay, and we will definitely be back if in the area again. Highly recommend.
VERY attentive staff. Looked after us so well throughout our stay. Chloe was simply BRILLIANT! She helped us with a number of requests and never failed to exceed expectations. Great location for town... and also quiet! Top breakfast. Enjoyed the property... very charming and interesting. Car Parking ease and location were a most welcome bonus.

The quaint ambiance of this ancient dwelling makes it a charming place to stay especially if visiting for a temporary reason. It is situated in a quiet residential area in close proximity to the city centre. The owner Peter is the most gracious host from ensuring he's there to greet you to attending to any other trip concerns you have.
Absolutely fantastic place to stay, rooms were lovely, clean and beautifully decorated. Few minutes to beach and pier, great location with sea view. Very tasty breakfast with good selection of food. Kurt is a great host and nothing is too much for him. I would recommend Viva guest house to everyone and we will definitely come back.
