This is a charming place, very quiet and beautiful. There were other guest there but we never heard anyone. The room is peaceful and clean. We stayed here on our anniversary, and our host's husband was kind enough to give us a ride to the nearby pub for dinner- we really appreciated that. Sadly we didn't get to stay long because of a really early flight- wish we'd been able to enjoy this place longer.

Amazing hosts, delicious food, super clean home, fresh linen and towels. The location is ideal, literally so much to do, see, shop and eat all within walking distance. Lots to do on the Pier and met lovely people. Was lucky enough to catch the fireworks on a Sunday night. I hope to visit again with friends and family some day. Karen is lovely and Kevin is hilarious. Will definitely miss them and their sweet dog Katie.

You can play darts at the inn. The best inn I have ever stayed inn! It's a 1500s building and it is gorgeous and fascinating inside. So much to look at, lovingly and tastefully restored and preserved. See pics. Fantastic staff. I didn't use the pub / restaurant but it looked superb. I did have breakfast which was 10 out of 10, see pic. The location is in the heart of the historic old town, all the streets are narrow and quaint, I managed to find parking up the street, but the whole area wasn't designed for motor cars. Be aware that the many steep stairs are not suitable if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases, so if that's you call them to discuss your options. See the pic of the paper they gave me to help me navigate the labyrinth! Overall the best historic property I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled a lot. Don't miss staying here!

Using fresh, local produce there is also a lunch and dinner menu available. The menu also includes a ‘Huffer’ filled sandwich, popular with the locals. Breakfast was excellent. The people were very friendly and very helpful. The location is ideal. Close to the beach and an easy walk into town.
