Breakfast was excellent and honestly why we chose Portman Lodge. My husband wanted to experience an English Breakfast. Neal was super helpful and friendly. The room was much nicer, comfortable and more modern than expected.

This recently renovated guest house is located 38 km from Corfe Castle and 40 km from Golden Cap. The guest house has family rooms. Trish and Mel were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. Breakfast was very good and prepared individually to each of our preferences. Add to this that Weymouth is a very nice little beach town on the beautiful Jurassic Coast. I hope to return and highly recommend staying at their lovely property.

Hostess served homemade croissants every morning with assortment of other breakfast foods. Most quiet place I have ever stayed. Hostess was wonderful and quick to help with anything I needed (which was not much because everything was so well organized)

The house and room were beautifully decorated, and very clean and comfortable. The shared kitchen, and fixtures in our room worked well. The location was walking distance from the train station, and in a quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful hosts who went out of their way to be helpful. Beautiful, clean and comfortable structure. Delicious freshly prepared breakfast available. I can't recommend it enough.

The location was ideal, easy to find and only a short walk into town. The breakfast was very good, quality produce all well cooked. Our room was at the back and therefore very quiet, a comfortable room with everything we needed for our stay.

Westcliff Beach is 2 km away and Bournemouth International Centre is 2.3 km from the bed and breakfast. Jane and Ged made us feel right at home - super friendly and attentive, great communicators and sweet details (such as home-made cakes at the entrance for us to take). Both are very warm and have lots of amazing stories which they shared during breakfast (which had a nice variety of choices. Additionally they both have great tips of places to go in and around the area. The decoration had a bunch of small details and the beds were very comfy.
