When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

Bruce was SO LOVELY and welcoming, we wish we could’ve stayed longer!!!! Our room was so cute and absolutely sparkling clean, as was the rest of the property. It is definitely on my list of places to return and spend more time at!! I wish I could rate them higher than a perfect 10!

Niall was so welcoming and accomodating and the room is exactly as described with a gorgeous view of the beach and a stones throw from a restaurant, takeaway, pub, and post office! It is a perfect location to explore Islay and just around the corner from the start of the 3 distilleries walk.

Situated in Oban and only 500 metres from Corran Halls, Witchwood House features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. 5.7 km from Dunstaffnage Castle and 48 km from Kilmartin House Museum, the property provides a garden and a terrace. The guest house has family rooms. Whitchwood was awesome with a capital A. Where do I start, the 2 very comfty armchairs placed in the bay window from which we sat and enjoyed the view of the ferry boats coming and going, the room and bathroom were spacious, and planty of car parks. 100% enjoyed the complimentary sherry upon our return from dinner. Just wish we had booked for more than 1 night. I wouls stay here again in a blink of an eye. Book a room with a view.
