This is one of the most unusual places I have ever been: the house is Louis XIV style and the rooms are freshly decorated in similar style, even the heater and the tiles are authentic, it makes you feel like a royalty and the owners contribute to that with their politeness and hospitality. Breakfast was also great, and what impressed me bit time was the lift and the library - a lift for a couple of floors is a nice touch and demonstrates the willingness of the hosts to perfection and comfort. The books were well selected and should go back for longer to be able to enjoy them.

The hosts were more than welcoming, (as our plane was late they waited for us though the night). The mansion is a little piece of history and by staying there we were part of it. It's 40 min from the centre of Paris so well situated.

Breakfast is amazing, nothing is too much trouble, and we would love to come and stay again. Erich gives you information about places to visit and advice about where you should go and what to see, which was great. Thank you for an amazing stay.
