Other than that, the rooms are clean, spacious, washrooms are clean, WiFi works well, there is a shared kitchen, free parking etc. If you would like to explore starnberg area then this place is ideal. We would recommend having a car as buses come once every hour. We had come to attend Oktoberfest so car was convenient and cheaper option than commuting via bus, metro etc. Overall, smooth and wonderful experience. The walk around the lake is long and beautiful :)

When we first arrived we sat on the deck and drank a beer and took in the unbelievable views of the mountains while the kids jumped on the trampoline (another great plus for families with kids!). The guesthouse itself was lovely -- old world charm with modern amenities, comfortable and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. We would come back and stay longer!
