A quiet location, you feel like at your grandparents' house. Very clean rooms, furnished basic, but with everything necessary. Breakfast, VERY tasty and rich. Great location for transit.
We liked having the terrace to the garden, enjoyed a quiet, restful stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and bathroom seems to have been relatively recently renovated. Our short stay was value for money.

It's a great location in a bright town just 15 minutes from a busier center in Passau. The host is very professional and keeps the place clean, neat and tidy. You can find out all you need to know about activities and local attractions from him. The place is also quiet and equipped with everything, including all you need in the kitchen, bathroom or your private room. I think this place would be great for backpackers and hope to see more of these travelers in my next visit.

We stay at Gästehaus Steininger every time we come to this area. The pension is perfect for us in every way! Comfortable and clean room, friendly and very welcoming host, excellent location in a walking distance of the town center. Great views at the surrounding mountains from the spacious terrace. Plenty of parking space for our car. Fresh mountain air and peace and quiet for a well deserved good night sleep.
This is a super cozy, super clean and super comfortable guest house, with great hosts! Gorgeous breakfast ... We rested there with the family for a week. It was a wonderful experience. We'll be back there for sure! I advise everyone, it's just a must see. All the best!
