We've been passing through Mikulov for years, but this is the first time we've slept at this place - we'll definitely be back! Our room was clean, spacious and well prepared for our arrival. The children were happy with the bunk bed :) The breakfast was delicious, served in the form of a buffet. However, it should be written about what really makes this place stand out - it's its owner. Incredibly friendly, helpful and communicative. It was a great pleasure to sit in the wine cellar in the evening, drink great local red wine and listen to the stories about Moravia. I recommend!

Located in Lednice, in a historic building, less than 1 km from Lednice Chateau, Sylván is a guest house with a garden and bar. The air-conditioned accommodation is 8.2 km from Chateau Valtice. From the start, we felt very welcomed and they were able to accommodate a few changes in our booking which were inevitable as we were a large group. The hotel is located approx. 7min by foot from the centre and 5min to the Annovino winery. It looks very unassuming from the outside, but it's newly refurbished, with tasteful decor and AC in every room. There is a wine cellar where the owner can organise a wine tasting and where you can buy bottles from local winemakers. We arrived by train+taxi, but they have safe parking available in the courtyard. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast buffet can accommodate even vegetarians and comes with a Prosecco. There's a little courtyard with a sitting area and a bar, which on the weekends can serve drinks even if the bars in the area are closed. We loved our stay there and hope to return again - it's good for groups of adults as well as couples on a romantic getaway.
