Amazing staff. The girls were so kind and helpful and David speaks English super well and was very prompt to answer any questions I had about the local area and b&b. Absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in ponta do sol. WiFi is also decently fast for Cape Verde standards. Super clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was also delicious every morning.

Excellent location, in the middle of a beautiful valley, with views of the sea on one side and the mountains on the other. The dinner is really excellent, really no reason to go elsewhere. Beautiful stone cottages scattered around the property, with plenty of space to relax as well, in a very green corner of Santo Antao.

Offering garden views, Residencial Lela d'Fermina in Pombas offers accommodation, an indoor pool, a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the terrace, or enjoy views of the mountain and pool. Secluded courtyard room just in front of the little pool. We loved outstay here. It was peaceful with a nice sized clean room and bathroom. A delicious and varied breakfast was included in the price and our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful with choosing treks and organising onward transport. Highly recommend

Pedra de Rala is located on the beachfront in Porto Novo. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. When staying at Pedra de Rala, guests can use private entrance. Very nice host providing helpful information. Beautiful room, convenient location.

Christina and her staff took such good care of us! She provided delicious meals, helped with transportation, and provided hike recommendations.

This place is absolutely fantastic. By far the best stay in Santo Antao. Location is perfect with a view of the sea and a picturesque abandoned airport. Staff is sincerely friendly, relaxed and they also speak english. Hotel level room was spacious, spotless and had the most comfortable bed I have experienced on S. Antao. Fabuluos breakfast, also best I've had (so far) on S. Antao, hence, stayed in six guesthouses.
Amazing experience! You feel right at home in the very heart of the amazing Vale do Paúl!! Kate is a great host: speaks all languages possible (😀), has all the guests dinner together and has a thorough knowledge of the entire island, giving great tips for hikes and restaurants! Staff was extremely friendly as well! The walk up the hill to get to Casa is quite steep but it’s like you feel rewarded once you get into this little paradise at the end of it!! I will be back for sure!
The guesthouse is conveniently located on the outskirts of village Eito and is a great starting point for many hikes in Santo Antao. The rooms are comfortable and clean, there is lots of greenery and fresh fruit - the breakfast was great! The owner and the housekeeper are both very nice and friendly. (There are also two little dogs living there who are super cute!)
It is situated near the trails and beautiful valleys, in the green part of the island. The view from the room and the terrace was perfect and you wake up each morning with the sound of the vawes. Breakfast was really nice, always with the fresh fruit. Wifi was a bit shaky in the room, but on the terrace and in the restaurant downstairs was good. The host, Liana, is very friendy and helpful and she makes the best home made pasta and appetizers on the island. I would definitely recommend Black Mamba to everyone visiting Santo Antao.
