Ana Ligia and her family welcomed us with open arms and did everything in their power to make us feel like home. The lodge is, as stated, quite rustic – so not for everyone. But for those who enjoy nature and being somewhere outside of the busy city life of Manaus, it's perfect. We especially loved the breakfast with açaí and lots of fresh fruit and the fish that Ana Ligia made for lunch. As a hostess, she also helped us when we missed our boat to get to the Refúgio and helped us as well on our way back. We really enjoyed our stay and, if we're in Manaus again, would definitely stay again!

At Ponta Poranga Jungle Lodge, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and cocktails and specialises in Brazilian cuisine. I absolutely loved this place. The staff was awesome especially Gabriel, Anderson and everyone else. They went the extra mile to accommodate an emergency call we had to make. The food was some of the best I have ever had. Fresh homade with a lot of love! I will be returning in the future!
