When I arrived I explained I had lost my wallet on the bus journey there. They were very understanding and phoned a friend from the village, who worked for the bus company. The wallet was later found and returned to the Salzburg office, the friend collected it for me and dropped it off at B&B Simmer at midnight (the end of her shift). Hubert stayed up specially and returned the wallet to me at breakfast (all intact). Such acts of kindness made our holiday extra memorable. Thank you all so much.

Mom, Dad, two sons, two daughter (in law), and two grandchildren, along with a fine and attentive staff. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding. Music filled the house. We will long look on our Austrian visit to Bad Goisern and Steegwirt fondly.

Offering a restaurant with a terrace and a café as well as free Wi-Fi, Pension Cafe zum Mühlbach is located in the centre of Hallstatt, 800 metres from the Salzbergbahn Cable Car and the public swimming lake Hallstätter See and a 20-minute drive from Bad Ischl Thermal Bath. The Staff were amazing, we arrived very late to Hallstatt and they made sure to be there to welcome us and assist us with anything we might need even if it was long after check in hours. The Staff were always available for us, even via WhatsUp. The whole stay felt like being home, only in front of beautiful lake and surrounded by mountains. Surrounded by mountains, Haus Alpenrose enjoys a peaceful location a 10-minute walk from the Lake Hallstatt and 3 km from the Krippenstein Ski Area. It features rooms with mountain views and free Wi-Fi. Daily buffet breakfast is available. Spotlessly clean, great hospitality, quiet but central as far as Obertraun goes (train&bus 3 minutes away). Good breakfast selection, fridge use possible, perfect base for outdoor sports. Michael is a great host and will provide the travellers a lot of useful info.

Fitted with hardwood ceiling, each room at the Gosaukammblick Privatpension also comes with a private bathroom with shower. The house itself is not new, but very well maintained house. Attention on the right details. e.g. good and newish matrace, clean walls, user friendly room. Clean everywhere , nice window view to the green fileds, mountains, and cows. Very kind and helpfull hosting family, good selection of traditional brekafast choices.

Pension Sarstein is located directly on the shore of Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region, a 2-minute walk from the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt. The property has a private beach area and a sauna, and WiFi is available free of charge in the common area. Amazing view of the Hallstatt lake and mountains. Warm and helpful hosts :) Had a great summer vacation.

The guest house contains its very own Diving Museum. Guests can rent electric bicycles in front of the property. The closest grocery stores are just 2 minutes away on foot. The P1 car park is 1 km away, and a free shuttle service to the hotel is available. Wonderful view from the room. Great location. Close proximity to everything!

This guesthouse enjoys a scenic location in the Gosau Valley in the Salzkammergut, just 600 metres from the Dachstein West ski area and 3 km from the centre of Gosau. Free wired internet is available.

Frühstückspension Pachler’s rooms and apartments feature bright wooden furniture, satellite TV, and a bathroom. The apartments have a balcony. This place has the best view of Gosau with all the mountains surrounded nearby. Hiking to the lake is very convenient. The owner is such a nice and humorous lady, very intelligent. I enjoyed so much here. She is so kind to me and made me feel so welcomed. Definitely one of the best experience during my traveling!

Just 3 km from the Dachstein West Ski Resort, the small, non-smoking Gästehaus Sams offers a quiet location 2 km from Gosau town centre. Free WiFi is provided in all areas.

A ski storage room is provided. The free ski bus is about 200 metres from the guest house, and cross-country ski trails are accessible directly from the property. Really fresh bread and cheese and very nice spread. Even had fruits and freshly brewed coffee with hot milk. Very nice breakfast. Even accommodated early breakfast one day when we had an early departure.
