A river is running at the foot of the hotel and right after it is a mountain with a waterfall🗻 what a view to wake up to! The food is also delicious with a number of Austrian dishes made from local ingredients, and the breakfast is one of the best we've ever had during traveling. There is pretty much everything you need in the room, and the staff will give you anything you lack. The rooms are clean and designed in a traditional Austrian style with a modern twist. Pension Sarstein is located directly on the shore of Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region, a 2-minute walk from the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hallstatt. The property has a private beach area and a sauna, and WiFi is available free of charge in the common area. The place is simply amazing. We had a private balcony with a beautiful view to the lake. The owners do their best to help you with what you need. For a small fee they provide laundry service, wich for us was a gret plus (paid 5 euros for a basket of clothes). Breakfast is simple but good.
