Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The room was large with a separate seating area and kitchen (although we did not use this). Comfy bed and it was nice in the evening to go and sit out on the balcony with a drink and people watch down the high street. When we were there the high street was shut for Ocktoberfest so I am not sure how busy the high street is usually but the room was quiet.
The hosts were extremely kind and accommodating. They have everything you need and have thought of everything. I enjoyed all of the personal touches they provide.
My friend and I went there for the haunted experience. We are traveling around Northern California to all the haunted hotels. The staff was super helpful and told us of their paranormal experiences. The staff, hotel, accommodations and everything there were wonderful. My bed was comfortable. We were on the 2nd floor and did not hear anything, it is super insulated and quiet.
Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Beautiful pool. Comfy beds. Reasonable prices. Great location. What more could you ask for?
