On the first night, I didn’t manage to wash myself - the water was drained for a very long time and to no avail. On the second night the water was warm enough to wash.
The furniture is old. I really want to wash it, especially the cabinet where the cutlery is
The bed is comfortable, if it weren’t for the sheet that rolls under you after just 5 minutes... And you find yourself on a bare mattress. Not a pleasant feeling. I fought with this sheet all night)))
There is a water boiler and a coffee maker - special thanks for that. It was nice to have a cup of coffee after the flight.

Excellent location in very quiet and peaceful area. It was only a few minutes drive to Universal Studios. The host was very pleasant and helpful. The unit was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The guesthouse is beautifully furnished and well equipped. The smart TV allowed for movie streaming too. Bathroom was clean and spacious!
Although there was some issues with the wifi during our stay, it wasn't a problem for us. All is good!
The property management company did make an exception for us tourists, who didnt have local digital payment options for collecting the USD350 deposit.

The amount of food in the refrigerator (not just snacks, that ranged from fresh fruits to lunch meats, eggs, milk, juice, drinks including water, beer, wine, soda), as well as dry goods like cereal and soups, and then the array of snacks provided were incredible! It was certainly much appreciated. It made a very difficult trip visiting my mother in a memory care unit there just a bit more bearable…as we knew we did not have to figure a food situation out (unless we wanted to). There is no need to bring any food or candy with you, as these wonderful hosts provide a wide and diverse array of every kind (salty, sweet, chocolate…)
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Mark was a great host! he helped my on how to use a grill, made a quick tour on the facility.

This is by far the best hostel I've ever stayed. It's so clean, friendly and cosy and you can tell the staff take great pride in it. If you're looking for a quiet place in a great location look no further. I'd like to thank Pedro, Bea and all the staff who made my stay so memorable. Everyone was so friendly, cheerful and always willing to help. They made my stay so enjoyable and I can't thank them enough. Already looking forward to my next stay! :-)
The location is really good, close to public transport and restaurants. The area is safe and quiet. Emily is a great host and she makes you feel welcomed. I highly recommend staying with her.
Amazing hostel in great location with beach in walking distance and also in a great cheap eat and drink out location with nice bars and restaurants and liquor stores everyone you need to make your stay enjoyable and saving money

Great location close to Santa Monica and short walk to nearest Metro station. Quiet street and easy to access the property upon arrival. Facilities were great and had everything we needed. Dalia was a great and helpful host, easy to contact if required. Would highly recommend!
A very clean and charming old house converted into a hostel. Quaint touches like original fixtures throughout the building. Nice shady backyard for some quiet time. Surprisingly quiet considering how close it was to the action on Hollywood Blvd.
A lovely studio nicely decorated and fully equipped. The fridge filled with lots of little intentions. A space to park our car, a washing machine and dryer available.. everything is there!
