It's worth the detour off the main drag because it has a charm all of its own, which you can find for yourself, without my 2 cents. I chose this place based on the reviews and was not disappointed ! The location is absolutely wonderful. We had to privilege to enjoy the autumn colors in a silent and relaxing place. We had the triple room which was just perfect. The ladies taking care of the property (Gabi and Margit) went out of their way to make us feel spoiled. They also recommended us places to visit nearby which really helped as we didn’t make any clear plans beforehand. We plan to come back in summertime and also enjoy some of the bike tracks

It's a nice and clean place with welcoming and discreet hosts. It's quiet, with comfy bed and good facilities. It's in the Valley of Dinosaurs :), close to the valley where Rausori is located - where we climbed the magnificent Retezat peak from. The road is asphalted and in fairly good shape all the way. The trip was surprisingly fast from our city - Cluj, it took a little more than 2 hours (almost all the way on highway). We'll definitely return.

Everything was exceptional. Very clean, the location offers access to a lot of surrounding hikes, waterfalls, lakes, archeological sites and more. Additionally, Mrs. Adriana who takes care of the cabin is a living encyclopaedia and was so kind to share with us some of her knowledge (and some of her great food).

Beautiful, spacious outdoor pergola, with cooking, grilling and dining facilities. Close to Retezat mountains, in a small, quiet village. The landlady is very kind and helpful.
