Stunning, beautiful and magical place - we loved our stay. Daniella is a fabulous host and the property and its location are just gorgeous. Lovely walks and drives in the surrounding area. Breakfast and the evening meals were all very good, brought to our studio and enjoyed in our private terrace. Great pool and large, very comfortable room. Very pleased to have found just an enchanting place. Highly recommended.

If you want to see the Douro Valley - this is the place. The view from the balcony is amazing, also from the pool. The way to Pinhao village is the best of the area. I liked the village Celerios - so cute and quiet but with two cafes. There was also a great restaurant nearby (Quinta doPortal) with excellent food and wine. The beds were comfortable and we found the air-conditioning very helpful and the possibility to cool down in the great pool with this extremely hot weather we had. There was also some touristic and practical informtion on the area, some even in Polish! The palce is incredibly quiet and relaxing. There are some nice walking trails around to discover.
Ervedosa do Douro (Near Alijó)

Everything about our stay was exceptional and we are already planning to return! The breakfast was the best we had while in Portugal, the views from the terraces were gorgeous, the location exactly what we were looking for (off the beaten track), the kayak trip on the river was one of our highlights, the Quinta's wines and entire winemaking process was great to see and the customer service was warm and kind.

Orchid was just so lovely. prepared a great breakfast in the morning. the view was out of this world. we sat in their patio surrounded by orange trees and flowers, while overlooking the Douro valley was perfect to eat our sandwich and bottle of Douro wine for a simple supper.
