very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Whenever we needed anything, from fresh water bottles to empty family cooking litter boxes, etc etc Jay was always available.
We were a family of twelve. With the four seperate bedrooms, each with a private bathroom and a privacy space such as own balcony or terrace, plus the community soaces, large kitchen with large space for family dinner, plus private poolarea … we felt private and safe in Casa Biance.
Surf beach was only a 5 minutes walk away.
Jasmine gave us sufficient information and answered all over our questions instantly before and during our stay (airport transfer, ferry transfer, etc) she was always „available“

A lovely, clean room in a great location. But what makes the homestay is the people; the hosts were friendly and helpful and cooked delicious food most nights, which they were more than happy to share with guests. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Masayay.

Loved the big beds! Widest bed I have had in a dorm ever. You also have your own bed light, sockets, a shelf and curtains. AC in the dorm. There are two bathrooms for each dorm room which is great! There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and a lounge area both at receptions and upstairs. They also have yoga mats and weights for working out. Located across the beach at Pasifico with a few restaurants close by. Wifi worked great. Great hostel!
I just liked the design, the quietness, the view and the staff. I want to open a hostel as well, and this hostel lives up to price vs quality vs design vs staff. I'm rating this hostel higher because no other competition is available. It's close to the beach, there are good local restaurants and you can rent a scooter etc. This hostel could be one of the best in Siargao. I tried different hostel around cloud 9, not impressed.

If you do not stay there, just come for the food - guess what, it's great too. ;-) Try the chicken mango curry! Delicious!

great location incredibly good food there is nothing to complain, the team tries to fulfill every wish fantastically beautiful. The north of the island is really quiet and nice, but if you look for the party area of General Luna then it’s is not the right place for you.
Good surfing location right on your doorstep, non surfers will love this beach too..
