We came here to enjoy the quiet location, a bit out of the central area, and the good vibes we had heard about. This is one of those places, which has beautiful and artfully decorated common living areas, but lives and thrives thanks to the vibrant personality, joy of life and helpfulness of its owner Norman. We participated in the degustation dinner which was the highlight of our stay at this property. Great food and wine, interesting international company and evening of curated discussion. So much fun! Thanks Norman, Hanna and fellow Norwegian, Swedish, Filipino and British guests for making our stay so enjoyable.

I love the ambiance of the whole place. It is our little nook of private space where we can just chill and appreciate the nature that surrounds it. The property sits beside happy islanders surf club where we conveniently booked our surf lessons. We also enjoyed the proximity to the famous boardwalk of cloud 9 where we normally do our morning stroll. I personally will choose this place the next time I come back to Siargao! We had the most incredible stay at Gratitude Inn. The room was amazing: clean, spacious, enough space to store your belonings, great bathroom with a very good shower (and also warm water!). Together with Steven and his friend we went surfing twice. We had no experience surfing, but after the lessons we were able to catch some waves :). In addition, it was possible to rent a scooter for several days. Before I forget, there was also a really cute dog. To sum up, one of the best places to stay while travelling in the Philippines.
