Although I only stayed 1 night at the Chachapoyas Backpackers Hostal, I would highly recommand it. The staff was so nice and the rooms so lovely (+ bonus for the hot water). The kitchen is perfect too, as well as the terrace with a great view on Chachapoyas. Just one thing, I had to share the key with my roommate which I didn't know before, it was'nt a problem for us but it can be good to know.

The room we had was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the shower hot. There is a shared kitchen available for use where you can cook basic meals with the equipment available.
