This is a Jewel!!! the Desert House is a remarkable place. The rooms are finished with lots of love to details. After being the 5th time in Namibia and 2 months into this trip I can honestly say that this guesthouse ranks very very high on my list. The owners,Annika and David, are the best hosts you can imagine. They did not leave one wish unfulfilled or question unanswered. The Desert House will definitely a stop on our next visit to Namibia. Wonderful hosts, charming village with interesting mining history. Excellent proximity to Brandberg mountain cave paintings and desert elephant herd. Artful copper pipe plumbing.

David and Annika are great hosts and you can really see how intentional they were about every detail. The rooms have a modern, original style, it's not your usual hotel furniture. Everything was superclean. They offer a vegetarian breakfast and the ladies serving it are very nice too.

A really great facility located on a hill overlooking the town. Really quiet. Very interesting host who was able to share a great deal of information about the area and the recently discovered Lithium deposits which have put what was a ghost town, back on the map again.

We have felt in 3 Aloes Guest House as at home, absolutely welcomed and very well treated. Mike is such a great host! He has helped us to get rid of a harmless but a very big spider in the middle of the night. We have seen there definitely our best sunset that we were watching from the amazing swimming pool. Perfect location to explore Brandberg and surroundings. Highly recommended 😊

Venice is a very kind host. The toilet and shower are very clean. Venice organizes good and cheap dinners and breakfast. The campsite is wonderful into the nature with terrific sunset and sunrise and lots of stars in the night. Next to te campsite there is a tipical himba village and the guide (John) is very good to explain everything. One of the best experiences in Namibia.
