We booked our room on very short notice, because our flight from Tana arrived to late to continue to Nosy Komba. The familiy room has extremely generous proportions and is spotlessly clean. Villa Soa has a lot of charme. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the upstairs terrace.

Madame Solange was very helpful with us with organizing the daily trips to the main attractions of the island (Nosy Sakatia, Nosy Iranja, Lokobe forest).
A plus for the breakfast. Maybe a little bit expensive, compared to the average prices of Madagascar, but full of malgascian delicacies.

It was quite and out of the way. Restaurants and beach were a short walk. The hosts were great, took me to the shops and the exchange.
The plunge pool, so good on a hot day.
They showed me how to negotiate with tuc-tuc drivers, and get the proper price.
There is a great restaurant on the beach, it is on the far left hand of the beach with the sea behind you. It is run by a French man, but he speaks English and Italian, great fish, as good as any top restaurant in Paris, or London.

Beautiful view from the balcony. The host Felicia was very nice and kind, she prepared us breakfast on the balcony every morning and cleaned our room. Location is great if you have activities in Nosy Be. Great restaurants nearby.

Giannie, the host, was incredible. She took great care of us during our stay and then went above and beyond afterwards. We had mistakenly packed a couple of their towels which she came to collect from the next hotel we stayed at. She organized an airport transfer at a much better rate than our next hotel offered. When our next hotel couldn't arrange a babysitter she found one. And, lastly, when our son left his small suitcase in the taxi that we took to the airport, she arranged to get it back and hold it at Villa Vintana until we returned again. Gracious and cheerful from start to finish. The common areas are limited, but they make the best of them--some board games, games for the kids, TV and lounge area. And they organized tours at a much better rate than other hotels. Food and drink prices were also better value than other restaurants or hotels we went to.

Nice huts with balcony and comfortable chairs with many trees around, so you feel like spending the night in the jungle altough the location was walkable to Hell-Ville city center.
The host of the guesthouse claimed no vacancy of the room type we booked until we arrived at the property around 7 pm. The property could have informed us but failed; we even called the property in the morning at 10:37 and we were not told about it. We ended with being directed to a nearby hotel.
Perfect location in Hellville, walking distance to the port, market, breakfast places, restaurants etc. Very nice room in a quiet, green corner of the garden. Oh, and the bed gets a special mention too, very comfy. Cool with both an outdoor shower and an indoor shower
