the garden is very beautiful and the view from the balkony is great. our room was very comfortable and bathroom was super clean with hot water. everything was new and tidy.there is a nice dinning erea too. the owners are very nice and helpful.they welcomed us with a coconut. and breakfasts were delicious.

This is a hidden gem in the area. We travelled from Canada and decided to go by what other travellers had said and glad we stayed here. The staff found out it was our anniversary and went out of their way to decorate our room - a lovely touch. The place is clean, the room was pristine, the breakfast is good and the staff are excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and we organized everything with them, it was probably the best thing we did. We’d go back.

Loved it all! One of the best acommodations on my trip to Sri Lanka. The location itself is great - not far away from the village center, but still in nice, quiet local road where you can meet lots of friendly local people. The garden in Mango tree house is very beautiful and very well kept! The cottages are super clean, very spacious and beautiful. Loved the waterfall shower in bathroom! The owner family is very friendly and welcoming. You can feel very relaxed there as they help in everything needed. I got my rides organized by the owners which saved my time a lot. Also their dinner was great, one of the best local meals I’ve had in Sri Lanka. Even if they dont have pool, there is one at really near by hotel that the owner directed me to enjoy refreshing swim on a hot day. You only pay small fee to enter the pool. I would definitely stay here again!

Dasun, the owner, was super nice and organized a safari for us, brought us to the elephant orphanage, and as well to a river, so that we could refresh ourselves on those super hot days. The place is pretty, the room comfortable and the food was really good.

We absolutely loved Peacock Villa! The family who runs it is so incredibly kind and friendly. You stay on their property where the meals are home cooked (tbh the best food I had in all or Sri Lanka), they drive you in their keep for the safari and the property itself is beautiful. While sitting on the balcony, we saw a bunch of monkeys crossing through trees. They will also help arrange transportation for you at a great rate considering the distance. I can’t wait to come back here sometime again!

We liked everything! Clean and comfortable rooms, well equipped- there was even coffe and tea to make in the room if you want. We really loved our stay there and Max was extremly kind and he arranged everything for us, even the fantastic safari trip. He made wondeful brekfast,snacks and dinner for us, the food was amazing! We are sorry we couldn't stay a bit longer..everything was wondeful! Thank you Max for everything, we really appreciate it :))
