I cannot rave enough about my incredible stay in Beppu, much of which was thanks to the phenomenal hosts. From the moment I arrived, their warmth was apparent, as they kindly picked me up from the bus stop. Throughout my visit, they were exceptionally accommodating, even taking me back to the bus stop upon my departure. Their recommendations for local sights and eateries were invaluable, truly enhancing my experience. The location of the accommodation could not be more ideal, nestled within easy reach of a plethora of onsens. Notably, it's just a 10-minute stroll from Hyotan Onsen, my personal favorite. Essentials are conveniently located, with a grocery store, Lawson convenience store, drugstore, and numerous restaurants all within walking distance. Having the entire place to myself was a luxury, especially since I visited during the shoulder season. The room was simply perfect - the beds were the epitome of comfort, complemented by air conditioning for those warmer nights. The addition of a small table with cushions made the space feel cozy. A unique feature I adored was the kotatsu in the living room, perfect for those chillier winter evenings. For those unfamiliar, a kotatsu is a traditional Japanese table with a built-in heater underneath and a blanket that drapes over the sides, creating a cozy, warm space to relax. In summary, my love for this place knows no bounds, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to return. My three-night stay flew by, leaving me wishing I could have doubled it, if not more. If you're seeking a comfortable, well-located, and warmly hosted accommodation in Beppu, look no further.

Great location about seven minutes from Beppu Station. Also hostess is very sweet. AC worked. And facilities were clean. There’s also a washing machine tho I didn’t use it since it was my first day of traveling. Very large apt which was more than I needed. But price was excellent.
