A quirky place in the middle of nowhere. A good location if you are looking for a remote place to view the northen lights and to explore the snaefellsnes peninsula. It was very quiet with only a few other guests, but they were still serving food in the evening which really nice.

Beautiful views, comfortable room, great bathroom. We were in a new section and it was great. 24/7 coffee and tea corner was nice. The dinner buffet was amazing with lots of vegetables and fish. The breakfast was okay with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and cheeses.

My parents and I loved to stay at this guesthouse! We were lucky, the weather was great and we had wonderful views from our rooms and the restaurant on Snaefellsnessjokull. The dinner was amazing, as was the breakfast. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful, as was the other staff. We did a stroll at the beach in the late afternoon, stunning. My room was spacious, with a small desk which was condusive to do some work in the morning. At 2am we saw some northern lights. The bathroom was also very nice. I can recommend this guesthouse 100%!
