Ecohouseboat has a great, convenient location in the city center. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. There is a magnificent green garden. The rooms in the hotel are cozy and very clean. The staff is friendly, welcoming, ready to do everything for a comfortable stay. The owner of the hotel organizes unique canoe village tours along the river by in non-touristic places, where it is quiet, picturesque and almost no one. I had a great time and extended my stay in this hotel for one more day. I recommend visiting this place. It was great!

Great room with excellent fan and ac. Good size and it was very clean. Om was a great host very friendly and helpful. Highlight of Alleppey was the backwater boat trip which Om organised for us. The location is okay. Some good restaurants recommended by Om.

One of the highlights of our stay in Kerala - amazing homestay literally 30 seconds from the most beautiful beach. The property and garden area is so beautiful and the owners and their children are so lovely, so kind and so helpful and the breakfast is fantastic. Amazing restaurant called “Fisherman’s cafe” is right beside the homestay.

Wow! This place is the very best place to stay in Marari beach. It’s so relaxing and beautiful. The rooms all have an outdoor space to chill. The air conditioning works perfectly. The food is absolutely delicious with our vegetarian needs met without issue. A variety of dishes served all locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Allwyn and jancy make you feel welcome and appreciated. The whole experience is tropical, refreshing and something you never get in a resort. The pool is a dream after the heat of the day. Come and stay it will be the best place you’ve experienced in Kerala.

Good guesthouse with great location and the most lovely host! Ashkar was incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly! He recommended great places to eat and was happy to organise a great canoe tour of the backwaters. The guesthouse is right opposite the beach, aircon in the dorm rooms is great. Convinient location, within walking distance to the beach and to the city centre. Jibu is a great host, helpful straight from the very begining of the booking. The canoe trip recommended by him was lovely, canoe fits into the smaller canals so you can observe the village life. And lunch (included in the price) was one of the best meals I had during my stay in Kerala. Overall, I had a great time, mainly thanks to Jibu and his friendy personality. Definitely recommend it.
Can't recommend Alleppey Beach Garden more. Great location. The rooms were clean and had lovely big windows that looked onto the beach. We had access to the beach directly outside our room with beautiful sunsets and we saw dolphins swim close to the shore every evening. Daniella and Jackson were so helpful, great hosts. Really tasty breakfasts with fresh fruit and the option of pancakes, omelette or Indian breakfast. We tried all of them and all were delicious.
Jibu is an amazing host, he really went above and beyond to show me around and help me out with everything, very kind. I definitely recommend going on the canoe tour he offers to organise, it's a much more authentic experience than going on a houseboat, and much cheaper too. The room is very spacious and clean, and great location close to the centre and the beach. Highly recommend, thank you Jibu!
Host was great and room was good value. He organised a canoe tour. I also did a houseboat and the canoe tour was far superior. Far cheaper at rs.1000 (including food). Canoe can fit down the smaller canals so you can quietly and respectfully observe the village life. Our group of 3 boats were the only people in the water. A truly immersive experience which is a much less crowded experience for tourists.. Houseboat felt like a heavily commercialised novelty

The homestay is in a great location - an easy walk to town and the bus station. It's clean, has a handy kitchen, and has great breakfast options too. The terrace is a great place to sit out on as well. Would thoroughly recommend this homestay, thanks Jose!
Jay and Yvette were great hosts. We were late arriving due to traffic from Kochi but a light evening meal was offered for our arrival which was great as we were too tired to head out again. Booked boat tour and sunset kayaking trips through Yvette just the night before which was super easy and both activities were great to explore the backwaters. Beach just a step away for a quiet dip in the morning. Very friendly homestay and nice to chat to host and guests to get tips for the rest of our India trip. Would recommend a stay 😊

Very welcomming and helpfull hosts, really nice, clean and spacious bungalow with view to the sea, filtered drinking water, A/C etc. Excellent homemade indian (sea)food everyday, excellent local breakfast, help to arrange boattrip etc. Quiet place - Take a rickshaw (100-200 INR) to the city center.
