The location, view and the staff service! Everyone is so helpful. we felt welcoming once we arrived at Teras Sawah. They are so kind in person. We also asked lot of question pertaining the waterfalls, food, and also about Sembalun. the hotel is basic but the view is super amazing. If u have drone, u can fly directly to Anak Dara hills during sunrise and sunset. Its amazing! ThankYou Teras Sawah staff!

It was a great stay! The family is so super friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome from the first minute. I liked the views from the homestay and the room was also clean and comfortable. Breakfast was spot on! Really good nasi goreng with egg, coffee and little banana pancakes. I really recommend staying with this family! They are great people. If you wanna stay in Sembalun, this is a really good option for a cheap price!

Great location to discover hikes in Sembalun. We went from the house directly to Anak Dara (beautiful hike of 4 hours) and Bukit Selong (25 minutes from the house). The host recommended us good places to eat and it was delicious. Host makes his own coffee. For us the coffee was not strong enough but it’s a question of a personal taste:) In general Sembalun is a nice village and worth to spend 2 nights there to discover hikes around. Many people spend one night just for Rinjani hike.

Far from the noisy main road, set in a garden with a great view of the volcano and nearby Pergasingan hill. There's no alcohol available in the town, including in restaurants, making for an authentic rural Indonesian experience. And, as the "town of a thousand mosques", simultaneous competing calls to prayer ringing out from 0430, and at various times throughout the day, made for an unforgettable experience. This guesthouse is probably further away than most others, so relatively quieter.

The hosts made me felt right at home and would even let you borrow his motorbike if it is available. We had a great chat about his passion about the culture and nature of Lombok and also his garden. He is one of the friendliest host I have meet. The room is very clean and is repurposed from a structure used to store rice back in the old days. I would strongly recommend this guesthouse.

Armasi was a great host, showing us his coffee plantation. His fried rice breakfast was very tasty, so was his home-grown coffee. His english is very good and his knowledge of the area and of the Indonesian culture and society as well. It was very interesting and pleasant to chat with him.
