Amazing hosts who were so kind to pick me up from the train station and drop me off at the Ketapang port. Very homey and they made me feel totally at home. Would definitely stay again and wished I had more time to explore the area. WiFi worked well enough but don’t expect to be a power user. For the price it’s hard to beat the kindness and hospitality.

Everything was fantastic! Marc and Erica are friendly and they tried their best to make us feel at home. The food is great, especially the banana pancakes in the morning ! The location of the guest house is close to the Ijen which is about a 30 minute drive. We also joined a tour of the Ijen organised by the guest house, which includes a local guide and the transportation to and from the guest house. The guest house in itself allows you to fully relax and recover by the pool or the small huts with comfortable sofa's. They have plenty of animals (otters, a goose, friendly cats and a dog) wandering around making you feel like you're in a national park.
