Very good place, as modern and clean as it looks like in the pictures! Our studio apartman was lovely decorated, and with the light yellow and blue colors made us happy feeling even in winter. We had to heat with the aircon, that is also modern so it had very quiet voice during operation. All furnitures were comfortable, also the bed! Full sets of plates, glasses and wine glasses all were in good condition. Warm welcoming, helpful and really caring owner lady, she brought us sweets and cakes many times. We highly recommend it, a very good choice also in winter season!

If you want to feel and explore Vela Luka with a full local sentiment, the Mara Apartments is the perfect spot to start your journey! The place is run by a local family and Mare, the main host, is extremely friendly and truly helpful! As the place was quite booked (like Vela Luka in general), we used three different rooms during our stay and all were equally good (that's why I'm giving scores three times). The free parking place is a true bonus in a narrowed and crowded place like Vela Luka!

Lovely apartment, modern, light and well equipped. Very comfortable beds and linens. Nice and clean, air conditioning works well, pleasant balcony with table and beautiful view. The host Ivana was friendly and very helpful, suggesting local places to visit and giving restaurant tips.

Bruno is a super host who is happy to help you, but above all, he believes in tourism that people co-create. The house is clean and above all friendly. The guests are cultured. They will be happy to talk to you or leave you alone if you don't like it. Above all, the experience will help you navigate the tourist traps. If you're used to the impersonality of a hotel, this is not for you. If you are bothered by dogs, feel free to skip it.
