The location was excellent, with a great view and a cozy room and patio. Moreover the breakfast was wonderful, handmade by the host. Oct 2023. Staff and owners were hard-working, caring and always on-site. Location is very quiet and has a nice view of the surrounding mountains with a spacious scenic patio for al fresco dining and relaxing. Breakfast was a wholesome start for my hiking activities and the bathtub was an appreciated finish. Dinner cooking was great and reasonably priced. Hotel kindly arranged a reasonable-cost taxi transport from Ioannina to and from the hotel and followed up to make sure I was picked up on schedule (big help!) Perfect hiking base for ascending to Astraka Mountain Hut and descending to Vikos Gorge.
