The hotel is located in a calm neighborhood and centrally located on the island, perfect to easily reach all the main towns and attractions of Rhodes. The room is more spacious than expected, equipped with everything you need including air conditioning, hairdryer, fridge and towels, and above all it is cleaned daily. The host welcomed us as if we were family, a humble and generous man who spoiled us with a lot of attentions including a plate of fresh watermelon and excellent iced coffee. He built the whole hotel himself and this alone is worth the visit. Try to carve out some time to chat with him, you will discover a truly inspiring human being. The best place we have stayed on our frequent trips to Greece! Christos and Despoina are very kind people who will do everything for your satisfaction and still manage to have a friendly chat with you. Everyday cleanliness, clean towels - anything we needed was taken care of promptly by Despoina. Slow internet and once the electricity goes out? Well what would you want on an island plagued by huge fires. Still, at a time like this, Christos arranged everything we needed within hours. And you don't go on holiday to work! We can only recommend this place - Stegna - a few steps from the sea, in the place shops and very good taverns, car rental. There is a lot to see on the island of Rhodes, even if you "only" went to visit the Old City.
