The best guesthouse of our Mestia to Ushguli trek. Genuinely the best food of the trip too (a month+ in Georgia). Generous, delicious meals. Recommend highly!

Lovely stay, amazing food and a HUGE portion, and finally a very nice host! I definitely recommend
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Tamuna is an exceptional host! Welcoming, friendly and communicable. The guesthouse is easy to find, you have amazing views all around. Adishi is a very small remote village, at Mata C guesthouse you get as much comfort as possible considering the context. Food was very delicious and good value for the money.
We were 9 people in the group and everyone agrees that Tamuna and her familu has been one of the best hosts! Highly recommended
Very impressive guesthouse in great location, right by the trail. Spectacular views, delicious dinner and breakfast, friendly staff. Loved having an en-suite bathroom. The host Vacho is a visionary and we are very excited to come back soon and see what winter might be like here.
A small house in a small village! Gunters guesthouse has everything you need. Gives you the full Georgian experience. Great host. Considering the price, this very local and primitive house is worth every penny:)
Also, a great breakfast, lunch and dinner is offered, if you are on the Ushguli-Mestia hike!
Right in the middle of old, beautiful Adishi, this guesthouse with its Svan tower, veranda overlooking cows and courtyards, and great food, was one of our highlights on our Mestia-Ushguli walk. The evening meal prepared by our host was excellent and cost ~50 GEL per person. A charming place to stay.
Elisabeth and her mother Nino are great hosts. We loved everything about our stay at their guesthouse.
The room was clean and with nice views, the food was delicious and the atmosphere lovely.
It is the only guesthouse in our trip in Svaneti where they prepared special vegan food for me. I really appreciated that :)
Authentic family guesthouse in Adishi hosted by a charming family. The hostess is very kind and serves very good diner and breakfast. Great value for money. We would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place in Adishi.
