A mile from Salisbury city centre, this 4-star (AA) B&B is in its own beautiful gardens, well situated on the A36 for Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum and Longleat.

Cricket Field House is totally non-smoking. Each individually furnished room is en suite and has tea/coffee, a hairdryer, a flat-screen TV and Wi-Fi. Rooms are in the main house or the pavilion annexe.

We had the 1 bedroom “appartement” which was very spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was also really comfy. We were traveling as a family with our 2 years old boy and everything was nicely arranged in advance (the cot was in the bedroom and a high chair was waiting for him before we arrived at breakfast!). Talking about breakfast, we had an absolute feast with some lovely locally sourced products and a fantastic English breakfast. And finally, the hosts were really nice and accommodating.

Our room was spacious, well appointed, fresh and clean. The bathroom was of a high standard, with a lovely large shower and hot water in an instant. Great kitchenette facilities in the room also, and onsite parking was great. Hilary greeted us warmly and was the perfect host with a lovely breakfast to finish our stay.

Luxurious, fabulous, fun, and contemporary are 100% accurate for this stay. Tanya is a lovely human who made our stay personable and relaxing. She even made us a reservation for dinner at The Royal Oak pub, which is only a 10-minute walk away. The atmosphere of the retreat is calm and zen. The bed was the most comfortable balance of soft and firm. Drifting off to the sounds of sheep in the field across the street was amazing.

This is a nice house in a quiet area just half an hour walking distance from the Salisbury railway station and 15 minutes walk to the city centre. The room is large, comfortable, clean and has a nice big bathroom. The host family is welcoming and very kind. They made us feel at home by offering us to use anything in their amazing kitchen. They are truly efficient in communication and helpful. Will always recommend to a friend and will stay again on my next visit. Thank you!
