In the morning, a cooked breakfast is served in the dining room which boasts panoramic views across Portpatrick towards Ireland and the Mountains of Mourne.

Breakfast was excellent, you are able to order the night before & exclude anything you don’t want. It was served piping hot and everything tasted terrific. There was a big pot of tea within seconds of sitting down.

Location was quiet which we like, with the views from dining room overlooking the town lovely. Parking across from house was good. Room was tastefully decorated, clean and fresh, with comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but perfectly adequate and shower was good. Hosts were lovely and friendly and they accommodated our dietary needs at breakfast which was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Very helpful and welcoming staff. Great location on the harbour in a quaint listed building. Simple menu but great food, most meals could be made gluten free including fish and chips which was a bonus. The hotel is under new management and they are working in upgrading the rooms Our room, had just been refurbished and was really comfortable. Please note, the small room is small, so if you need a little more space select a standard room. For our overnight it was fine.

Staff nice and friendly Downstairs deco really nice but very dated up stairs. Great location on the cliff, we walked down to the port for a few drinks. We stayed here before we got the ferry, for the cheap price we got it for it was fine. But I wouldn't stay more than one night.

Immaculately clean and in quiet location. Great hosts. Great Breakfast. Blinkbonnie is up a steep hill so could be a struggle for some but there's a seat halfway. My hubby who is an amputee managed it. Safe parking too which is a massive bonus for us who have trikes. Portpatrick can be busy so book for meals rather than take a chance.
