The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel that nothing was too much! Nicola the manager made us feel right at home. The property was period so it may seem outdated to others but we loved the historical side of the B&B. We loved the food (both dinner and breakfast) - the burger on the menu was to die for! We were part of a wedding party and felt awful for setting their fire alarm first thing in the morning due to steaming a dress, they were so lovely about it and saw the funny side. I even had a call when I got home to learn that I had left a cheap necklace in the room and they were going to send it to me via post. I would certainly stay here again! Thank you to the team there!

Very quaint, picturesque hotel, very friendly and helpful staff that went the extra mile for us. We had 2 breakfasts and a high tea and the food was always exceptional. Room was spectacular, really quirky with hidden nooks, crannies and features and a bathroom to die for. Emily was our host and could not have been more helpful, always responsive to our needs and requests and even sorted us complimentary Buck’s Fizz for our anniversary! A really lovely stay at a charming, rustic and friendly hotel; would definitely recommend.
