My stay was fantastic. Tony and Amanda are exceptionally good hosts. Very personable and helpful. Breakfast is very nice, great selection and quality. Room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful sea view. Guesthouse is situated in a great location, right beside the seafront and a short walk away from Claremont pier and plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops etc. close by. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.
My stay at No 18 was great. Sandra was a very helpful and accommodating host without being intrusive. The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable with a superb sea view. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet despite being on a main road so a good nights sleep was enjoyed. There was a good range of options for breakfast which was cooked individually to order. Sandra provided some great recommendations for places to eat and visit which were helpful. I'd highly recommend this guest house for a break on the east coast.
The location was fantastic - a major road but very quiet and we were able to park directly outside the property for free. The beach was less than a minute away and we had a sea view. We were able to take a short walk into the town, which was nice and the pier and harbour we good to visit.
The hosts were lovely, warm and welcoming and sat to chat with us over breakfast too. The breakfast was great - fresh fruit, yogurt and cereal were all provided, along with a well cooked Full English, using quality ingredients.
A fabulous traditional BnB ,Tony and Amanda were great hosts very friendly and nothing was too much for them.The cooked breakfast in the morning was superb .Would definitely stay there again .Also gave me a free upgrade to a larger room downstairs bed very comfortable and very quiet.. ..
Great location, great hosts, parking outside, walk through the gardens opposite and you are on the promenade above the beach (steps down) The hosts have thought of everything- breakfast is lovely- Book directly with Hotel Katherine and breakfast is included.
Breakfast had a lot of choice. Well laid out and very clean. Staff very efficient and pleasant. Great location for the Theatre where we were going to see a show. Philip is a great host!!
