I have stayed at Creston Villa a few times now, always very clean, comfortable and welcoming, Iain and Anna obviously enjoy sharing their house with visitors and make sure we feel like a Guest rather than just a customer.
Breakfast, although not a traditional cooked breakfast is still superb with good fruits, yoghurt, range of cereals, choice of bread, plus cold meats and cheeses, even a selection of different types of marmalade, all homemade.
In Lincoln centre, on the hill with striking views, 4 minutes’ walk from Lincoln Cathedral and the University of Lincoln, The Poplars Boutique BB offers bed and breakfast accommodation.

More of a Guest house than Hotel as no staff onsite. Room was clean and tidy, with tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge freezer. Shared kitchen was large and adequately equipped. Shared bathroom (with otter guests) was clean. Perfect for a cheap one night stay close to University for Open Day. If staying longer would consider one of the rooms with its own on suite.

great location, very nice clean en-suite room. I stayed for a couple of nights over the weekend. very welcoming staff, the owner Darren was very considerate and was very helpful in efficiently getting through the contactless checkin. in my opinion this guest house is way better than the local chain hotels, has more character and is way cheaper in comparison. situated only about 15 mins walk from the city centre is an ideal location. would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again if I’m ever that way again!
