The evening meals and the breakfast were very good, all the food was of a good quality and cooked well. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. As the weather was cold in the evening the owner put the heating on for us.

Excellent facilities. Delicious full English breakfast delivered to our room. Most attentive host, who even washed a garment that had been soiled so that the stain did not set. Communication from the host before and during our stay was first rate. Quiet location, high degree of privacy. Parking next to room, which was very handy as the weather was variable.

Extremely comfortable, large room with great amenities. Nicola, our host, provided daily snacks and drinks in the room and recommendations on things to do and where to visit. Very quiet location. Close to Hay on Wye for a little town visit.

It was an exceptional place to stay. A huge room and bathroom, and beautiful grounds to wander around. And very dog friendly too. The room decor was stunning. We felt like we were royalty! The breakfast of cereal and fruit in my room suited me well and made for a very relaxing start to the day. It was very kind of the host to make a dairy free cake for me and very much appreciated. It was on a quiet road with doggie walks along the Mortimer Way straight from the door.

Nicola was a great host, warm, friendly and helpful with advice and any requirements. House and bedroom beautifully presented in a traditional style. We only had a one night stop over, but the area was very pleasant and we enjoyed a walk through the village and a pint at the pub/restaurant, 'The Stagg Inn'. Simple, quality breakfast and beverages provided in a cute pantry off the bedroom - a nice touch.

Wonderful views of rolling hills and a gorgeous cozy bedroom. Emma and her mum are charming helpful and informative hosts and even her daughters are hospitable! The bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely bonus to have a guest lounge. Absolutely delicious food in the morning including home-made compote and fabulous eggs. What a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful and historic place. Thank you for allowing us to share your family home.
