This guest house was lovely. The room is large and has two very comfortable chairs. This is the best bed we have slept in over the course of this 3 week vacation. It is quiet, and I slept like a contented baby! The town of Hawick is very charming, also.
Hawick
Boasting a garden, shared lounge and views of garden, Whitchester Christian Centre is set in Hawick, 29 km from Melrose Abbey. This 3-star guest house offers a lift and a shared kitchen. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.
Location could be tricky to find - use your satnav and be aware that the driveway-ebtrance to the property is naturally leafy and go slow! Breakfast was lovely - all very "Covid-safe", too - and very tasty; prompt service and good attentiveness from staff,

Host meet us at Auld Skuil, very welcoming, even offered us the option to pack Motorbike in Barn across road. We were very happy with accommodation, it was spotlessly clean, had every comfort needed for our mini break, even had a selection of breakfast cereal options, fruit, teas, coffee and milk in property. This home provided us with a place to just chill, relax and de-stress, nearby local restaurant The Smiddy, serviced very nice food at good prices, we would defiantly recommend this property to our friends and relatives
