Unfortunately I chose a weekend when the host was not providing breakfast but the well fitted kitchen and dining room were available for guests to use and I was warned in advance. The parking in front of the house was very welcome as it was close to guest accommodation.
Location was excellent for centre of Dingwall and Davidson museum which was reason for my visit.

You might wonder why I'm giving 7/10 while most of other reviews are pretty critical. It's the second time I visited Waverly Inn and TBH, I knew where I am going, what to expect, what I will get. I still think it is very good budget option. When you look at other hotels/BNBs in NW of Scotland, they are ridiculously expensive, rip hundreds of pounds for the night. Are they worth the money? I strongly doubt so. So if budget is your main priority, this is the place to go. Location is perfect, you can go any direction be it N, W, S, or E, you will quickly find the beauty of Scottish nature around. And if you are like me - you use the hostel just to crash out for the night, what else would you need?
Also, talking about real benefits, the staff is very kind and flexible for late check-in; breakfast is included! It is not much but it gets you going!

Good size accomodation, with decent size TV and table and chairs. Good coffee making facilities and having a fridge is a bonus.
The accomodation was within walking distance of some lovely woodland walks.

The owners are extremely warm and friendly. The food was the best! They are excellent cooks and served delicious breakfasts daily. The place was quaint, attractive, and close enough to the shops in town to walk.

Several lovely little extra touches, very homely and welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and the duvets were thick and warm against the Scottish cold. Easy car parking and easy to find.

The guest house is run by a husband and wife team, and even when they officially ran out of breakfast in November, there was something to eat in the dining room on the ground floor. Very good for the money.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Returned here after an overnight stay in 2017 as we loved our stay then and this time was just as lovely. Rooms are so thoughtfully and stylishly appointed, beautiful linen, fluffy robes, good lighting, lovely toiletries and a really delightful extra touch of a delicious home cooked snack and a nip of whisky. Breakfast was delightful, fresh fruits, creamy yoghurt and a fabulous full Scottish to follow. The host, Alison is so charming and helpful too. Perfect b and b 💖
Lovely guest house. Great off street parking. Easy stroll into the village. Great hosts and breakfast was amazing. Also thanks Jillian for recommending dinner at the local Indian restaurant.
For a stay to break up a long journey North The Waverley was easy to find, good parking and quiet. The staff really try to help. Cheap and just a step up from a youth hostel.
Very nice B&B! Our host was very welcoming and provided a wonderful breakfast, hot and cold, fresh fruits... cosy, clean, and quiet, all the things we needed!
Great location to discover the Highlands.
Great hospitality, excellent breakfast with fresh seasonal fruit, choice of eggs et ...
Gill is a great hostess, leaves you privacy but is available if needed.
The room was clean and deserves a 4star.
Private parking space available.
Danny and Hilde are very kind and welcoming hosts. There are nice little extras which make you feel most welcome. We also liked the fragrance in the room. The house lies in a quiet neighbourhood. The bed is very comfortable, so we had a sound sleep. Breakfast was wonderful and the two Dachshounds were very cute. This Bed and Breakfast is highly recommendable and very good value for the price. If we come back to Dingwall, we will certainly book here again.
Comfortable single room with separate bathroom for your own use. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable and Alison was a great host. The whisky on arrival was very welcome. I wanted to explore the area but didn't want to stay in Inverness. Dingwall was a quiet little town ideally situated for exploring by car or public transport. The train station and bus stop is just over the road. Highly recommended.
