In the restaurant, a Continental and cooked breakfast is available in the morning for a surcharge. Muesli, yoghurt and fresh fruit is also available. Using fresh, local produce there is also a lunch and dinner menu available. The menu also includes a ‘Huffer’ filled sandwich, popular with the locals.

I loved the country atmosphere of the accommodation. Staff where very helpful and obliging.

Excellent location close to city centre (walking distance) with plenty of parking for hotel guests. Quiet. Lovely very helpful staff who responded positively and promptly to any request we made. Liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room…not the couple of tea bags and sachets of instant coffee one often gets. Here in the room was a variety of herbal teas available as well as black tea, drinking chocolate and a capsule coffee maker with plenty of capsules. In the fridge every day was a small bottle of fresh milk.

Very comfortable clean apartment, exactly as described. Quiet area yet just a 20 minute walk into the city centre. Welcome pack had all the information which was required. Our host was easily contactable if needed and made sure everything was to our satisfaction during our stay. I stayed with my 2 teenage sons and we had plenty of space. Great value for money.

The quaint ambiance of this ancient dwelling makes it a charming place to stay especially if visiting for a temporary reason. It is situated in a quiet residential area in close proximity to the city centre. The owner Peter is the most gracious host from ensuring he's there to greet you to attending to any other trip concerns you have.
