We had a fantastic stay at Sinai House, rooms are well kept and very comfortable. Victor and Alison are super hosts and very welcoming. Breakfast selection was very good and the food itself was top notch. There is also an honesty bar near reception which is ideal if you fancy a quick nightcap. The location of the hotel affords you stunning views across Lynmouth Bay is located a few minutes walk from the centre of Lynton.

The location was superb. Andrew was a great host and we felt that we were treated like royalty, the best breakfast we have ever had. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Maria and Clive have put a lot of effort into the property over the last years to bring it all together beautifully
Their attention to their guests is unsurpassed. In addition to their fabulous - and huge - breakfasts, they have recently started doing evening meals - head & shoulders above any other local eatery.

Wonderful big English breakfast served with a smile and interest.
Loved the location and personal attention to preferences.
The building has thick walls and so internet was not possible in the rooms. But internet is possible in the pub and entrance lounge/outside seating at front door.

I rated a Porlock BnB as perfect (which it was) but the Devonian was even better. In many ways it was like a luxury boutique hotel. It had a beautiful bar, a little cinema, a reading room, a drawing room, a gym, a massive garden with sauna, Jacuzzi etc.
Breakfast was served on a crisp white table cloth with elegant china and individual servings of all the breakfast options you could possibly want - different cereals, yogurt, delicious fresh fruit, jams, croissant. I opted for salmon and scrambled eggs on a crumpet for the hot dish. It was beautifully cooked and presented.
Terence gave me a short cut to the Coastal Path - so I was back on the Path in about 5 minutes.
I was just awestruck by the amazing management skills of this young couple. The Devonian is a place not to be missed if you are in Ilfracombe.

Excellent, freshly made breakfast with a variety choices to select from. The owners were very courteous and helpful, both before and during our stay. The inside was beautifully decorated, peaceful and serene. Our room had plenty of space and the bathroom was lovely. Highly recommend.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location, a short drive a few minutes from the local, superb pub (Black Venus Inn), a bit too hilly to walk after recovering from major surgery! Dogs allowed, the hosts and children came out and made a fuss of our 1yr old malinois puppy and she loved staying on the farm as well. There's lots of good walks around the area (best follow all-trails app) and really superb facilities, which all looked very new and fresh? The welcome pack has some really good quality stuff, including coffee pods and cookies, etc.
Location was idyllic very quiet. Property very clean and comfortable and presented to a very high standard. Welcome pack with local produce was a super touch too.
Rachel the host popped by to say hello and she was very charming.
Bathrooms and bedrooms were fabulous, lovely outdoor space. Close to a fantastic pub. Friendly hosts. Nicely planned cottage offering two en-suite bedrooms either as B&B or with a lounge and Kitchenette as a holiday cottage. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return.
This is a delightful B & B, and Jess the hostess couldn’t have been more helpful or made us more welcome! we had a very comfortable room with everything we could have wished for.
The rooms were very well presented and obviously great care had gone into the design. The hostess was extremely helpful, with lots of local knowledge, breakfast copious and delicious. The outside areas will be lovely when they are finished. It was lovely having the wood stove in the evening. Our granddaughter enjoyed feeding the hens. Everything was so delightfully clean; we thought it was newly done.
