The room was comfortable, warm and freshly renovated. Check-in and out was easy, and the hosts communicated brilliantly. The location was great. Able to get down to the beach quickly; 10 - 15 minutes walk (we walk quickly...)--albeit there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate, but you have to come up the hill if you want to get anywhere at all from the beach, so it's unavoidable. I'm sure you can easily get a taxi back up if necessary.

We enjoyed staying at Thurlestone House very much indeed for the 10 nights we were there. John and Linda could not have made us more welcome and were a fountain of knowledge both on the local area and wider Cornwall so were always willing to help with travel advice and where to go and what to see. The room was very comfortable, quiet and a nice size for the two of us. Breakfasts were very good indeed with a wide choice and always served with a smile. We would have no hesitation in staying at Thurlestone House again when next in the St Ives area.

We had a great time staying at Primrose House! The room was super comfortable and clean, and everything was so well decorated. It's a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was always delicious and the location was prime. Also, we work online, and the main area was the perfect place to sit. Really appreciate hotels when they have good common areas. Central location , everything from beach to town centre to bus station could be reached within a 5-8 minute walk. Cosy room with the most amazing view - we saw the tide coming in and receding 🤩 Tracy is the sweetest host and she made really yummy breakfast each day (with a variety of choices).
