Traditional, warm and comfortable, The Grapes Hotel is renowned for its home-cooked food, real ales and wonderful accommodation in North Wales. It provides the ideal base from which to enjoy a range of country pursuits, including walking, cycling and horse-riding.

What a wonderful find, excellent location. Stunning view and a newly refurbished garden/patio. The staff and local customers were super friendly and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back..

Was a superb place, very comfortable, and the host was a superstar making me feel ever so welcome despite a late arrival, and organized a super early breakfast so I could make an unplanned change in train connection.

A former 18th century coaching inn, originally part of the Earl of Ancaster's Welsh estate, this comfortable, family run hotel is full of historic character.

Retaining its original character and many fittings, Elen’s Castle Hotel has en suite guestrooms to suit all tastes, including a four-poster room overlooking the Lledr Valley and River, a family suite and accommodation to suit walking groups. There is also a bunkhouse for the traveler on a budget. Dine in the intimate restaurant and enjoy a drink by the wood burning stove in the cosy historic bar.

The area is central to many popular places in Snowdonia. It stands in a very small village yet there is a small utility shop a few metres away. There's a lot you can do and everything is close by. The area is very peaceful and quiet. As a family we were given a very spacious room.

Lovely house in a great location. We were visiting the local bike park and this house was 5 minutes away. Host's communication was great. Everything you need for a stay in the area and even included a disposable bbq which went to good use. Everything was clean, check in/out was super easy, kitchen had everything you need for cooking meals etc. Dartboard and little summer room at the bottom of the garden was a nice touch for the nice weather we had. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely, cosy cottage in a great location for exploring the area - we climbed Snowdon (48 min drive to Llanberis) and visited Betws-y-coed (25 min drive) while here. The local area is picturesque too but poor weather stopped us exploring. We will be back! Hosts left us a lovely welcoming gift & card, which was a great start to our break.

The location was incredible, great views and a quiet little spot. You could only hear the waterfall close by or the cows in the next field. The welcome pack was unexpected and a lovely touch from great hosts. The cottage had everything needed for a home away from home.
