Great location, welcoming and helpful host Emma. The place has all facilities we needed and it has an amazing view on the bay. The kitchen is very-well equipped. We stayed for 7 nights for work and had all the comforts needed to restore and dry from the wet days.

Lovely peaceful location with comfortable living area to enjoy the garden view and birds (bird food included!). Sofas were especially comfortable and kitchen was excellently equipped. A good selection of maps and guides were provided. Helpful and friendly host and great location for exploring the area.
Very friendly and helpful hosts, the check in was quick and smooth, the room was clean and had everything we needed, it was nice to have breakfast brought to our room in the morning and also we could choose what we wanted to have. Fresh ingredients and fresh fruit from their garden. Overall amazing stay, definitely recommend Cartmel to anyone.
A very comfortable home stay style BnB (but without breakfast) in a beautifully quiet location. The host is extremely welcoming and the room well presented and very comfortable. I was slightly apprehensive reading some of the reviews, but I needn’t have been. I enjoyed my stay perfectly.

Alexander is a charming and helpful host. We had a great time in the area... And loved being able to walk through the field down to the beach, see the sun sink and watch the bearded Collie rounding up the sheep! .
Upgraded to the quirky Hippy Shack, which provided something different to our other lodgings on the NC500, and overlooked the small holding. Quiet peaceful location with a short walk to the loch. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would recommend.
Lovely host, very accommodating. Very comfy bed and a good night's sleep. The location is quiet but beautiful. Room came with kettle and drinks and goodies such as chocolates.
