it felt like you were sleeping in Monet’s Garden ! We had a room under wooden beams with ivy climbing outside the windows . The meadow larks were chirping. dry peaceful and a short walk from the actual gardens.

My hosts were exceptional and made me immediately feel welcome. They were kind, accomodating and helpful. The freshly made meals were superbe and created with fresh ingredients. I visited before the garden was in its peak of blooms - before the blooming of roses and peonies - yet the care given to create outdoor spaces for enjoyment was plainly evident. There were spaces created to watch the sunset near the blossoming trees as well as a gazebo and a covered space to enjoy the garden during inclement weather. Everywhere - both in the garden and in the house - there was an immaculate attention to detail. I cannot speak highly enough of Evergreen and give the highest recommendation possible. I fell in love with Vernon during my stay. When I return to France, I will return to Evergreen as well.
