I did the Camino from St Jean Piet De Port to Compostela this last June . For me Posada De Gaspar was the BEST Hostal of all my trip. Jesus treated us as family and gave us a lot of good advices regarding our trip ahead. The rooms had GREAT views and the food was excellent. The location is perfect because is the last Hostal before climbing to La Cruz de Ferro. Highly recommend

Sincere hospitality and kind services we received from the owners of this lodging was really heartwarming. We felt welcomed and appreciated. It was well organized and efficiently run. Room and the entire establishment was well designed, well run and made one at ease. Dinner and wine was excellent. Town itself offered many services including a supermarket that opened early for pilgrims to pick up souvenirs and some essential stuff for the road. Nice little stop on the Camino.

Bea is a great host. She takes care of laundry, the fireplace, and the warm atmosphere: excellent Albergue, beds with sheets and pillows.

Gorgeous house, lovely village, great hostess. It was wonderful to have access to a washing machine, garden for drying clothes, and kitchen. Possibly my favourite accommodation on the Camino.

An absolutely charming hotel. A very old building with simple rooms and attractive decorations. The reception staff were so helpful. The room was very quiet indeed and we slept in we were so tired. Rabanal is our favourite village on the Camino Francaise. We ate our evening meal at Posada El Tesin who also own Casa Indie. They even had a vegetarian menu. A small village that work hard to provide excellent hospitality. Some of the hotels in the big cities could do well to copy such a small villages example.

The Stone Boat Guesthouse offers the Camino’s best hostess, Kim. She was so welcoming and put in the time to get to know us as residents. She offered to wash our clothes, made banana bread for us in the morning and in general, she was just the most warm and giving woman. The room we stayed in, were so comfy and cozy, which were welcomed with open arms as peregrinos. We would recommend this lovely accommodation for everyone.
