Featuring a patio planted with pomegranate, orange and lemon trees, El Escudo de Calatrava is an 18th-century building located in Mohedas de la Jara. It has a barbecue and chill-out area. Talavera de la Reina is 60 km away from the property.

Quaint and cosy atmosphere. Beautiful courtyard with nice places to sit. I parked my motorbike inside the secure courtyard. The homemade venison stew was excellent as was the breakfast with local produce. The hostess was was warm and friendly. It was the perfect overnight stay on my route up through Spain (N-502)
